Angels Coming Together to Make Dreams Come True
Before Believe in Dreams, there was the Angel Ball. First launched in 2002, the Angel Ball was an annual event designed to raise awareness and resources for the Dream Foundation, the first national wish-granting organization for adults suffering from life-limiting illness. Chandler Lutz was a key contributor to these events, which opened her eyes to the importance of making dreams come true – especially for people for whom dreams provide such a critical lifeline of hope and well-being.
With the help of the Angel Ball Foundation and its supporters, Chandler evolved its dream-fulfilling mission to include seriously and chronically ill adults and children. She also worked to raise the profile of the Foundation, developing strategic partnerships and planning and initiating high-profile events to help raise funds for the seriously ill and their families. And so, Believe in Dreams was born.
As the heart and soul of Believe in Dreams, today’s Angel Ball now raises the funds needed to improve the quality of life for children facing serious illnesses and to support those dedicated to finding their cures. Hosted by Chandler, Richard, and Susan Lutz at Believe in Dreams' Moorestown, NJ headquarters, the Angel Ball is a celebrity-studded event that attracts the nation’s biggest hearts, brightest minds, and finest entertainers in the name of making dreams come true. What began as a fundraiser for the Dream Foundation has grown to serve Believe in Dreams and its charitable partners, including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Starlight Children’s Foundation, and the Maximum Hope Foundation.
Last year’s Angel Ball proceeds exceeded $125,000.00, bringing the total raised in the past six years to more than $700,000. With your help, we can exceed that number to and raise the number of dreams fulfilled.
